I can do these videos again, it’s no longer horrifically warm! I dug out a little AC tower thing that runs on water (I believe the brand is Arctic Air) and it’s cooling me down nicely. Oh right, I’m supposed to be talking about the toy, aren’t I? This was on eBay for a while and I decided to get it, and boy is it odd. For one thing, the packaging. It’s just one layer of cardboard, like a super old chinafake from the 80s/90s (and even a lot of stuff from back then had proper cardboard). For another, the toy itself (and especially its insides). It seems very thrown together, the whole thing is made out of seemingly arbitrary colors of plastic and I’ve seen versions with both red and green BNGs. Inside, it has two chips, both running constantly. One is the Lollipop song, the other is chicken noises. A mechanism not dissimilar to the old mechanical light mechanism from earlier chinafakes switches the speaker output back and forth when it’s time to lay an egg. Last but not least, the wires are held in place with not tape, not even hot glue, but SMALL STRIPS OF CARDBOARD HOT GLUED TO THE INTERIOR SURFACES. Yep, it's weird in there. Anyways, you might be wondering about the new music. I decided to switch to something that won’t get me copyright claimed into oblivion just in case some record label changes their mind and takes down all videos using their song. It’s called “Red Dawn”, and it’s a song by the company Fuxoft for their ZX Spectrum version of Tetris. Bling sent it to me and I thought it was catchy. Anyways, here’s that link in the description: https://discord.gg/CHVErNV99d
Oh, and if you didn’t get that reference at the end there, watch @ashens’ video on THE GOOSE. It’s amazing.
