Hello, Citizens of the World! We are Anonymous.

We have been apprised of a danger threatening the integrity and security of the internet. This danger is called the Trans Pacific Partnership. The I.P. chapter of this agreement would destroy internet users' freedom of speech, as well as the right to privacy and due process, and hinder innovation. This agreement spits on the right of sovereign nations to develop their own policies and laws.

The TPP would force every country involved to adopt the restrictive policies of the DMCA. Temporary copies would be copyright infringement. It would put fair use at risk, restricting the term. Circumventing copyright protection would be illegal. Copyright infringement that is not done for profit would now be a criminal offense.

Environmental, labor, safety and financial regulations would be ignored and repealed. Subsidies and legal rights would be granted too major corporations creating huge, unbeatable monopolies.

I call upon all members of Anonymous to raise awareness of this threat, and work to destroy it. The public at large remains unaware, and will be taken by surprise when talks are finalized and we are all at risk. Everyone must know about this. The TPP would restrict the world's access to knowledge and destroy the internet as we know it.

We will rise up and take back the internet, reclaim what is ours for the good of the earth and its people!
