I haven't seen the kitsune (Vulpes vulpes) for several months but it has returned. I leave food on a tray made of scrap wood every time I go out to check my cameras and change the batteries. Most of the time the food is found and eaten first by Tanuki (Nyctereutes viverrinus) The cameras also work as a security measure for the two empty bee hive boxes under the camouflage net.
