For the past one month, the rain has been my biggest obstacle. Almost every day, the sky would open up, pouring endlessly and keeping me indoors. My usual road walks, which I enjoy for both exercise and relaxation, became something I could only dream about. Each day, I’d look out the window, hoping for a break in the weather, but the clouds had other plans.

Today, however, things took a different turn. After spending hours online, I realized I needed some fresh air. The rain had paused for a while, and I decided to take advantage of that short window. I slipped on my comfortable clothes, stepped outside, and began my walk.

The air felt crisp and refreshing, and with each step, I could feel my body thanking me for finally moving again. Along the way, I stopped at the shoe mender’s shop to pick up my pair of Pams that had been there for repair. The sight of them looking good as new put a smile on my face—it was like getting a little reward for making the effort to come out.
