One of the most interesting tools in the new Affinity Studio is a dynamic filter brush. It applies live graphical filters and a layer mask all in one step. This makes for a fast, non-destructive, reconfigurable effect that's super easy to apply. And since it's applied on its own layer, it can be rearranged in the layer stack, sandwiched between other content, and adjusted as needed. It's pretty great!
