I used to eat the same three or four meals every single day. Toast and eggs for breakfast, a sandwich or salad for lunch, something plain for dinner. It wasn't exactly a terrible routine but it was getting to be too much. I didn't even notice how much it was until I just grabbed a pack of smoked salmon one day, just to shake things up.
I first added it to my regular avocado toast. I thought it would be okay, but it was even much better than that. It gave this deep, salty flavor that made the whole thing feel like a real dish rather than something I threw together randomly. Then, I started to play with it on other dishes. Smoked tuna in a rice bowl with cucumbers, carrots, a little soy sauce. A handful of arugula on top. It took five minutes to make the whole thing but felt like something Iād order from a cafe.
I usually buy from a fast food joint and rarely cook it.
I liked how easy it was to use, no cooking, no prep, just open the package and eat it. It's real food, too. I read the package and there was only fish, salt, smoke, no frills. I've tried cutting back on processed food in the past, and it felt like effort. This didn't. It just enhanced the meals I already have.
What's even better is how satisfied I was for a long time. I don't get hungry right afterward. And I've done a little reading on omega 3s and protein1. and it's good to see that this product is treating me kindly. I've been buying the smoked fish at a particularly joint recently, they say they focus on sustainability and that makes me feel all the better about consuming it. It's truly just been a minor change, but it got food interesting again.
