One afternoon in July, on my way from home to the market, I was deeply moved by the beautiful scenery of nature that I saw while riding in a CNG car. The greenery on both sides of the road, the distant blue sky and the play of clouds, the lifestyle of ordinary people walking along the road—all these together created a living picture. In this article, I will discuss in detail the feelings, scenes, and deep relationship with nature on that journey.

The moment the journey began

That day, I left home at 2:34 pm. Despite the heat, there was a light breeze, which brought a sense of relief at the beginning of the journey. I decided to ride in a CNG car and sit in the front seat, because I could see the whole scene well from the front. As the car moved, I left the hustle and bustle of the city behind and entered the lap of nature.

Natural beauty on both sides of the road

A celebration of greenery

Looking at the trees lined up on both sides of the road, it seemed as if nature had spread its green sheet. The leaves of neem, blackcurrant, and mango trees were sparkling in the sunlight. Sometimes the branches of the trees were casting shadows on the road, creating a cool atmosphere. The light falling through the gaps in the leaves of the trees was creating shadows of various shapes on the road, which was very pleasant to see.

Scenes of fields and crops

Sometimes, huge fields could be seen on the side of the road. Green rice fields were swaying in the light breeze, looking like waves of the sea. Farmers were working on their land, some were plowing, some were busy harvesting. These scenes reminded me of the simple lifestyle of rural Bengal.

The beauty of water bodies

I crossed a few small and large ponds and canals along the way. The sunlight was shining on the water, creating a shimmer. Sometimes lotus flowers were seen floating in the water, sometimes the beauty of a lotus flower was seen. A few cows were eating grass on the bank of the water, and occasionally fish were jumping out of the water—this scene further enhanced the simplicity and beauty of nature.

The diversity of the sky

The play of clouds

That day the sky was covered with clouds. Clouds of various shapes were hiding the sun, and sometimes the sunlight was coming out through the gaps in the clouds. The color of the clouds was changing—sometimes white, sometimes gray, sometimes golden in the sunlight. This changing scene fascinated me.

Flight of birds

I could see various types of birds flying in the sky. Crows, hawks, doves, and hawks—they were spreading their wings and floating in the sky. Sometimes they were flying in groups, sometimes alone. The birds were flying in the sky as a symbol of freedom, which made it seem like nature was the source of liberation.

Life of people on the roadside

Pictures of rural life

Village people were walking along the roadside—some going to the market, some returning from work. Women carrying heavy loads on their heads, children returning from school. Some people sitting under trees talking, some sitting in shops drinking tea. These simple scenes were depicting the simple beauty of rural life.

Excitement of children

A few children were playing by the roadside. Seeing their excitement and happy faces, it seemed like how beautiful life could be if we could maintain childlike simplicity. Some were running, some were hanging from tree branches—these scenes reminded me of my childhood.

Sometimes natural scenery and sometimes man-made structures were visible along the road. Old houses, new buildings, temples, mosques—the harmony of nature with all this was wonderful. A distant minaret could be seen through the trees, and there was a school next to the crop field. This harmony made me think about how people can live in harmony with nature.

Various types of vehicles were plying on the road—bicycles, rickshaws, vans, motorcycles, and sometimes tractors. This diverse transportation system indicates the versatility of our society. Looking out the window of the CNG car, seeing all these vehicles and people moving around, it seemed like how dynamic life is.

Mental peace

Seeing this wonderful view of nature, my mind was filled with a strange peace. It was as if I had left the hustle and bustle of the city, the pressure of work, and the thousands of problems of daily life behind me. It felt like I had become one with nature at that moment.

These lonely moments on the journey gave me the opportunity to think about myself. What is life for? Aren't we moving away from nature? These questions kept popping up in my mind. When surrounded by nature, people can easily immerse themselves in themselves and get to know themselves.

Nature gives us so much, we should also protect nature. Planting more trees, stopping the use of polythene, and preventing water body pollution—these are our moral responsibilities. The scenes on this journey reminded me once again the importance of nature conservation.

That day's CNG journey was a unique experience for me. This short journey into nature has taught me to think deeply about life, nature and myself. Let us not neglect the beauty of nature, but rather preserve it and live in harmony with nature—this is our pledge. Nature can give us mental peace, purify our souls.
