Here's a little number I wrote right after I repaired my TASCAM 4-track cassette machine. I needed a song to record and test it out with, and so I call this little country music chicken pickin' number I wrote The 4-Track Breakdown--a little tongue-in-cheek wording with play on a song title like Scruggs Breakdown. Anyway, "breakdown" really applies here in the literal sense. I broke this beautiful mechanical marvel machine of the 1980s down to uncomfortably small parts and fixed anything wrong with it I could find. Who says cassettes sound bad??? I think it sounds pretty darn good now! Tell me what you think! Maybe one day, I'll build it to be a longer song and give it a proper name.

Due to scheduling conflicts (and mostly lack of money), I couldn't put Brent Mason on this recording session, so I had to play all the chicken pickin' myself. My apologies in advance!
