This echo was recorded on my Zoom H5 with Rode NTG1 shotgun mic on July 21, 2021, edited today. Summer vacation at my friends' home on Kalamalka Lake in the Okanagan. A little stroll in the garden at night. The mic actually picked up a lot of the traffic on the highway on the other side of the lake, as well as the humming of the AC and the fridge they have in the patio. It sounded much more quiet in real life. I really need to learn how to get rid of that kind of background hum on Reaper. Though I'm not sure it would manage to make the difference between the sounds that could all be taken as background noise.

Petite promenade nocturne dans le jardin. Le micro a capturé pas mal du bruit de la circulation sur l'autoroute de l'autre côté du lac, ainsi que le bourdonnement de l'air climatisé et du frigo sur la terrasse. En réalité, c'était beaucoup plus calme que ça ne paraît sur l'enregistrement. Il faut vraiment que j'apprenne comment me débarrasser de ce genre de bourdonnement en arrière-plan sur Reaper. Mais je ne suis pas certaine que le logiciel saurait faire la différence avec les autres sons qui pourraient aussi être pris pour du bruit de fond.
