In this video, you see that the right and left parts of the release are held together with the magnets, and when I place the wire that's terminated with a pogo pin receptor into the plastic piece on the left, that it successfully depresses the Pogo pin in the plastic piece on the right. This confirms that the connection should be successful once the assembly is complete.
