Data Clinic's project addresses the community impacts of climate change on public transit. They've created TREC (Transit Resiliency for Essential Commuting), an open-source tool that communicates the intersectional risks faced by transit infrastructure and community access at a local level. By considering flooding scenarios, they assess station-level vulnerabilities, provide access to essential services, and prioritize improvements. TREC aims to democratize data and promote human-centered decision-making in climate resilience planning.
