As of 2025 my primary recommendation for those wanting to get off centralized platforms with heavy censorship, thought-police and bad algoriddemz, would be the BLURT blockchain (as they have no downvote button, which people weaponize as a tool to take away people's earnings...some absolute PUSSY'OL shit).

I also recommend Blurt for it's opportunity to earn unrestricted from their content much more than they can ever hope for in this economical landscape and digital tyranny.

Not saying HIVE is bad, but over the course of three years they have gone back on their principles quite drastically, to the point where i am observing subtle forms of censorship, via the use of the downvotes like bullying others into silence. However, since the HIVE blockchain has more than one layer, we can still earn a lot from the layer 2 tokens and projects that devs and other nerds have created for the blcockahin (such as SPLINTERLANDS the NFT card game, or RISING STAR the music game, or LeoFinance the community of investors and economists...each projecct has their own large community with their own tokens, holding monetary value, as their tokens offer the commerial world a service, therefore they have a place in the world economy)....

I utilise both and don't give a fuck.
