This is a very funny game made for the MAGS competition back in the year 2013 within a month. This game is how MAGS games should be made. Texan Author Ponch introduces a new character, Paige Rowsdower and makes fun of everything Canadian while keeping it tasteful. The Tim Horton Doughnut shop put into a giant igloo is just ingenious. And there is more. And more texts. A lot more texts! A whole lot more!!! Ponch gives the people you meet a lot of weird character with his funny lines, I hope I clicked them all... There are some puzzles, but this game mostly consists of dialogue, you can talk with everyone about everything and the apocalypse that is happening around and seems to be tame in Canada. The 2013 game is a bit like a dark prophecy for the 2020/21 pandemic, but only partially. The other half of the texts is Paige talking to the player and explaining why there are certain restrictions in this long game made in only a month and making fun of the bad graphics etc. Well, the graphics start interesting but get worse and you can see how close it was getting the game finished towards the deadline as Ponch and Paige Rowsdower both drag you into the MAGS frenzy. The music is cool, though you won't hear it because of copyright issues on youtube and some of the puzzles are mean (the "get to the other side of the hockey players"-puzzle is both great and an insult at once) and the hidden hotspot minigame is also in this game, well, you have a solution at hand...

Synopsis: This MAGS game follows the adventures of Paige Rowsdower, the newest member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police as she tries to maintain law and order in a world that is collapsing into chaos and anarchy. Of course, since this game is set in Canada, the apocalypse is very well-mannered and polite.

Jokes, donuts, beer, hockey, and snow. It's as close as you can get to being in Canada without actually going there!
