This is a nice fan service and a trip down memory lane. All the "insider-jokes" added are too much by today but back then it was all about referencing lucas arts games and star wars. And maybe bashing sierra some. This is what this game does right and is fun. The graphics are also really good but sadly there is no music, you can only hear R2D2 beep and boop around... The Force - gameplay mechanic is interesting and used in fun ways throughout the game, hovering up R2 reminds of return of the jedi and the other time you need it, it is funny. All in all not total comedy gold but some lines are funny, and when you get all the references you are old enough to click the thumb up under this video... The story and the puzzles around it are a bit on the weaker side but you can have some fun with this game...

Synopsis: Tatooine. You're Luke Skywalker, and you must find Chris Jones' mysterious Blue Cup, somewhere near Ben Kenobi's hut... R2-D2 and the Force are your allies.
Gag-packed parodical short game that shows the in-production "Shadows of the Empire: Graphic Adventure" full game features.
This is the tech demo for "Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire - graphic adventure". It was released in 2005 and is a complete short-game, more than a tech demo. It won the "Best Demo" AGS award of 2005, and was featured on lots of websites and some magazines.
A significant chunk of the full game was developed in our spare time between 2005 and 2009, but at some point we had to put the project on hold. Will we publish it someday? We still hope so, but can't make promises.
Credits: BobaFonts - art, coordination Dusk - scripting Professor Epic - screenplay
