The description by the two authors is spot on (and also not as is revealed later): He is the Spaceman! He is in space! Ben Chandler, that later painted all the background for the newest Wadjet Eye Games (games?) also painted and animated this and also came up with the story and puzzles and characters. Some of those are sure influenced by Francisco Gonzales who went on to make some great games like Lamplight City and Rosewater.
