Ukraine SBU conducted another spectacular operation by blowing up 1100 kg planted at one of the Kerch Bridge legs on 3 June 2025. The explosive was intentionally planted at the bottom, where a complex foot composed of hundreds of steel and concrete piles is installed. The explosion did not cause an immediate collapse of the bridge road but the consequences of this explosion for bridge's stability in long-term are unknown. The Kerch Bridge, after Ukrainian attacks in 2022-2023, is one of the most guarded objects in south of Russia so this attack is a clear slap in the face of FSB.
