No computers in this one! This project is all about building a useful device to remove some back-breaking labour in our garden. Compost needs to be sieved and mixed with soil so it can be used again to grow all the plants we need. It's hard work and somewhat boring so I figured, why not automate it (at least a little).
This is a bit of an experiment in Slow Telly - I wanted to try something just a little bit different.
This video features Chickens, Bees and soothing countryside scenes - Oh - and lots of cups of tea! :D
Many thanks to Tayside Reusers - https://www.taysidereusers.co.uk/ - a fantastic place that repairs, upcycles and reuses all sorts of things that would otherwise be skipped.
I know a lot of you will have ideas on how this could have been improved, my terrible drilling style or lack of measurements. To be honest, I had real fun just slapping this together without worrying. It was a real experiment and was great to do because of not taking it too seriously. Sometimes, it's good to just hack something together you know?
